Halifax Learning Resource Centre
There is a computer room with approximately 30 PCs and a black and white printer in the St Lawrence Court area of the College. The room can be accessed 24 hours a day using your key card. Non-members of Halifax should contact Halifax College Reception for access.
Network access from your study bedroom
Students with a laptop or PC for use in their study bedroom will need a yellow cable to connect to the University network. Cables are available free of charge from Halifax College reception or from Computing Service on Vanbrugh Walkway. To log on to the network you will need your unique username and password which you have received by email prior to arriving at York.
The cost of internet connection is included in the accommodation rent.
Wifi access
JJ's common room, open 24 hours a day, is wifi enabled.
