Who's Who in Goodricke College

Goodricke College is headed by the Provost, Jane Clarbour, with the assistance of a team of staff including the College Administrator, Porters and Facilities Managers.

In addition, a wide variety of University staff and teams help keep Goodricke College functioning throughout the academic year. These include a Welfare Team, a Facilities Management Team, and a Porters and Reception Team. All of these groups come together as the College Committee, the overall management body of the College.

  • The Welfare Team is there to develop the college community and support the welfare needs of those within the College. They are responsible for students living in the College and act as a point of contact for non-resident College students, members of the Staff Common Room and alumni.
  • The Facilities Management Team is responsible for maintaining the College buildings and grounds, cleaning, waste management, and other services such as vending machines. The FM Team is part of Campus Services. 
  • The Porters and Reception Team manages access to buildings and supervises incidents in and around College.

The final, vitally important groups within the College are the Junior Common Room Committee and Senior Common Room Committee who excel in managing the affairs of Goodricke's undergraduates, postgraduates and staff on a day-to-day basis.
