Oliver Sheldon Court, recognisable by its russet colour, is the smallest of all three residential blocks but still houses over 150 students and one College Tutor. The main building is supplemented by eight houses, each providing accommodation for eight residents. Each flat contains between six and twelve study bedrooms.
Oliver Sheldon was a director of the Rowntreee Company and co- founder of the York Civic Trust whose lobbying contributed to the founding of the University.
Oliver Sheldon Court is adjacent to the nucleus building, where you will find the College Provost, the College Administrator, the Facilities Manager, the common rooms and the laundry.
