Information for new students
Welcome to the University of York and especially to Alcuin College; we are really delighted to have you here.
This section provides you with valuable information about where you will live, how to get to the College and what to do when you arrive.
Before you arrive you should read the new students' information and, most importantly, our College Handbook for 2011. The first day of term this year is 10th October 2011 so you should be in residence by then. If this is a problem please contact the College and your academic department as soon possible.
When you arrive there will be people in College to meet and greet you and to make you feel welcome.
You might want to check out the College Facebook groups and join them and also look at the Junior Common Room (if you are coming as an undergraduate) or Graduate Common Room (if you are coming as a graduate) as well.
