Confederation of Burial Authorities' Directory of Cemeteries and Crematoria in the UK |

| The Cemetery Research Group has collated the first UK Directory of Cemeteries and Crematoria. The Directory covers each local authority area in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Cemeteries and crematoria are listed by owner, and includes all local authorities and many joint cemetery committees; parish, town and community councils; religious denominations; and private sector companies. Each cemetery is listed with a date of establishment. Additional nformation has been provided in the updated Directory of 2001: the states of the site in terms of land available burial, its size, and whether certain burial facilities are available ('traditional' plots, lawned sections, woodland graves and special baby and children sections). This information, regularly updated, is now available FREE through the Bereavement Services portal: |
