- June 2008 - Many congratulations to the boss, who has been awarded the RSC Synthetic Organic Chemistry Prize 2008, which consists of a silver medal and a cheque for £500. The Prize will be presented at the RSC awards ceremony in November.
- June 2008 - Congratulations to Richard Paxton who successfully passed his viva and who is now working for Selcia in Ongar, Essex.
- April 2008 - Well done to Russ Kitson, who won a poster prize at the recent RSC North-East meeting in Newcastle. Alan, James D and Will also presented posters at the event.
- Februray 2008 - Congratulations to Stuart Jones and his wife Fiona on the recent birth of their 2nd son, Senan.
- January 2008 - Congratulations to ex-group member Jan Peter Schmidt and his wife Lisa, who had their first child, Leo, on 4th Jan.
