  • Welcome to Rachel Smith, Jo Simpson, Helen Robinson and Lucinda Cowling who joined the group as PhD students in October 2011
  • Congratulations to Salina on winning the prize for best methodology poster at the recent ICAP II meeting in Ourense, Spain
  • Congratulations to Julie Vincent and Diana Saggese on successfully completing their MScs by Research. Well done to them both.
  • Dr Kriang has taken up his position as Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok, Thailand
  • Dr Siân has taken up her position as a Technical Project Leader at Reckitt Benckiser, Hull
  • If you think our archaeological science work is interesting, and you are graduating with a degree in chemistry or biochemistry, then an MSc by research in Archaeological Science could be of interest to you.  An MSc by research takes one year of full time study, and potential research programmes would involve our collaborators Prof Matthew Collins and Dr Oliver Craig of BioArCh.  Enquiries can be directed to chemgrad@york.ac.uk, and applications made online.
