Chemistry Outreach Activities, Events & Resources
We offer a range of talks and hands-on activities suitable for students of all ages. We also offer science continuing professional development (CPD) to primary teachers, as well as a wide range of teaching resources. For some of the hands on activities we can lend schools the equipment (including safety glasses if required) and detailed instructions to enable teachers to run the activity with their own classes. Depending on availability we may be able to provide a scientist to run the activity, but this could incur a charge.
Also listed are regular events that take place at the University of York and it may be possible to arrange a tailor-made visit to the university for a school group, but this is subject to timetabling issues.
