[This] is well deserved recognition of the hard work and enthusiasm of the admissions team and their commitment to the personal approach to applicants

Professor Richard Taylor, Head of Department.

The Department has a long history of successful undergraduate admissions but in recent years, the achievements and impact of the team has reached new heights. Indeed, undergraduate applications to Chemistry in York have had a 100% growth over the past 5 years, significantly outperforming the national chemistry statistics.

The winners of this year's awards will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London, on 16 June.
