All charges depend upon any sample preparation required and the complexity of the analysis, which will be discussed in advance with customers. Laboratory work-up, interpretation and report writing are charged at £100 per hour. VAT is not included. Radioactive, carcinogenic and other such hazardous samples are subject to special procedures requiring specific approval before they can be sent to the Department. For further information:
