Synthetic Methods and Total Synthesis

Our research program is focussed on the development of new synthetic methods and their application to the synthesis of medicinally relevant scaffolds including natural and non-natural compounds.

This seminar will discuss our efforts to develop, and extend, synthetic methods to gain rapid access to highly functionalised heterocyclic systems. This includes our recent efforts towards the synthesis of spiroaspertrione A and spirocalcaridine.
