                   POWER - Problem in the York container with the main circuit, should be looked at today.
                   INTERNET -  Still problems with the satellite system.  We are in discussions as to alternative solutions
                   YorkLab - Everything off for now but until yesterday CO, O3, MET, working well.  GC-MS-problem with valves overheating and mems flow. 
                    Still some issues with calibration of system. GC-FID-potential optic problem under investigation.  NOxy back to manufacturer for repair of peltier cooling system.
                   IFT - Problem with compressor resolved.
                   MPI- All off until internet problems resolved.

1st June 2009

                      POWER - Finally breaker has been changed before York and IFT leading to stable power and purposeful back-up generator!
                      INTERNET - Luis working on radio connection, hopes to have it in operation this week.
                      YorkLab - CO instrument low sensitivity, everything else (O3, MET, NOXY, GC-FID, GC-MS) working well.
                      SOS campaign running, FAGE having some problems, PERCA running well, MAX-DOAS potentially a broken shutter, GC-MS (Irvine) running well.

                      POWER: Stable and Generator OK. Still wait the licence for wind turbine instalation
                      Sending equipments- 20 ft container sended to york since last week. Big box from IFT will be send during the next days .
                      Internet - OK (satellite dish). Managing now to get the wireless connection from the institute.         
                      YORK - CO,Noxy and Ozone equipments OK.
                     GC back to routine sequence chromatograms looking much better now.
                      MS in Bristol being repaired.
                      Max DOAS running again.
                      IFT    - Equipments running OK .
                      MPI-Jena - Lena Kozlova and thomas Seifert Back to Europe since yesterday.Lab is running.

                     POWER: Stable and Generator OK
                      INTERNET: Internet working at the site but further finance is needed to allow remote operation from outside.
                      YORK: CO, O3, NOxy running well
                      Major work has been carried out on the GC-FID and is looking much better.
                      MS in Bristol being repaired
                      MAX-DOAS has been upgraded and is running well.
                      IFT- Equipment running well.
                      MPI-Jena, Thomas and Reimer working on greenhouse gas measurements.  Calibration gases delivered this week.

                    POWER: Stable  and Generator OK.
                    Sending equipments- 20 ft container already available. waiting customs documents to be ready to send the container.
                     INTERNET: Problems with internet (satelite dish) seems to be solved. internet conection OK since two days ago.   
                    YORK - CO and Ozone equipments OK.
                     GC back to routine sequence but chromatograms still not good.
                    Noxy running but Zero Air generator has a problem.
                     MS in Bristol being repaired.
                    Jens and Robert from Heidelberg at the station.Max DOAS running again.
                      IFT     - Equipments running OK since the end of the last campain.
                    Max-Planck - Lena Kozlova and Thomas at the station.2 more technicians arrived.  Still waiting for calibration standard cylinders stuck in sal, on the next ship.
            
21st August 2008

                     POWER: Stable during August and Generator OK.
                    Sending equipments- 40 ft container is back to the harbour.Preparing documents to send back equipments in 20 ft container.
                     INTERNET: Satelite dish in place but internet conections still with some problems.       
                     YORK:- CO and Ozone equipments OK.       
                     GC back to routine sequence but chromatograms still not good.
                      Noxy running. Zero Air generator has problems. 
                     MS will be send back today to Bristol to be repaired.
                      Heidelberg People will arrive next week for Max DOAS reinstallation.  
                       IFT     - Equipments running OK since the end of the last campaign.
                    Max-Planck - Lena Kozlova and thomas  arrived this morning the 22nd, and will stay until the 12th of September.

                   MAX-DOAS off because of mechanical problem with the equipment.  Heidelberg people will be here at the end of August to install new equipment.
                    Radiometer from University of Hamburg OK.
                   Meteorological  equipments running OK.
                    Aerosol sampling from U.of Southampton running with just one of the two pumps again.
                   Wind Turbine unloaded, container expected to be shipped later this week.

                   MAX-DOAS off because of mechanical problem with the equipment.  Heidelberg people will be here at the end of August to install new equipment.

            INTERNET: Satellite dish has cleared customs and will be installed next week.
            YORK LAB: CO, Ozone, and Noxy instruments running OK.
                                GC running but still has a some contamination problems.
                                GC-MS not working. Preparing to send the MS back to Bristol to be fixed.
                               MAX-DOAS off because of mechanical problem with the equipment.  Heidelberg people will be here at the end of August to install new equipment.
                                Radiometer from University of Hamburg OK.
                               Meteorological  equipments running OK.
                                Aerosol sampling from U.of Southampton running with just one of the two pumps again.Matt is trying to solve it.
            IFT LAB:  All instrumentation working.  Sandra returns home in the next few days.
            MAX PLANK LAB: Calibration gases expected in the next two weeks and then on-line measurements will begin mid-late August. Doing just flask samples.

                POWER: Some power problems; power cut from yesterday evening until today at 11:00h. Generator alternator is burned out. Somebody is coming today to see                                     it and will take it to town to fix.
            INTERNET: Satellite dish has arrived.Still Doing customs clearance.
            YORK LAB: CO, Ozone, and Noxy instruments running OK;
                                GC not working properlly (recovering from a problem)
                                GC-MS not working.Preparing to send the MS back to Bristol to be fixed.
                               MAX-DOAS off because of mechanical problem with the equipment.  Heidelberg people will be here at the end of August to install new equipment.
