There's a Video / DVD combi in the room I'm teaching in but no remote control
Rooms with "Neptune" cabinets have a control panel on the top which will operate the Video / DVD player in other rooms remote controls are available from the local porter or reception desk. Please return there after use.
Will my video work in your player?
All of our video players take standard play PAL VHS tapes and Long play tapes and NTSC (American) format tapes can be played in most of our newer machines.
We do not support other tape formats e.g. Hi8, Betamax, Betacam etc. For other recording formats e.g. Secam, Mesecam and some European formats we can provide a World Standard player upon request.
Will my DVD work?
All of our DVD players will play region free (0) disks and region 2 (UK) disks. Many will also play disks from other regions, but we recommend you inform us when booking equipment.
Can you copy my VHS tapes onto DVD?
Unfortunately we have no copying or editing facilities available. We recommend you try either:
