Funding collaborative research

The University of York has a strong tradition of collaborative research and knowledge exchange.

This work is able to take place through commercial partnerships and through a range of funding opportunities available to organisations from funders from local development groups to EU agencies.

We can support organisations in carrying out collaborative research. We can also assist in finding external funding sources for work in partnership wtih the university.

Potential funding sources include:

• Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
  Funding available for 12 weeks to 2 years for company-based research projects
• Technology Strategy Board
  funding available for company-led research projects
