Overview

As a core-facility lab, we strive to provide state-of-the-art analytical services in the areas of proteomics, protein identification, and post-translational modifications. We also offer mass spectrometric analysis of small molecules, especially carbohydrates and lipids. Our clients include University of York staff, academic labs from the UK and worldwide, and companies. Mass spectrometry is the key technique used in the lab, and we are members of the University’s new Centre of Excellence in Mass Spectrometry, which provides us with access to £1.6M of the most up-to-date instrumentation.
