Horticulture

The Horticultural Services are located in the Biology Department and Walled Garden. A range of specialist glasshouse and controlled environment facilities are available. Please contact Colin Abbott room P001 Tel: ext 8568 for further information

Services

• Provision of plant material for research and teaching
• Maintenance of glasshouses and controlled environment facilities
• Advice on plant cultivation
• Advice on selection of equipment and materials
• Monitoring of environmental conditions in plant growth cabinets, rooms and glasshouses
• Provision of environmental data
• Ordering service for consumable items
• GM induction for P Block access
