Holly Wright

Research Manager

Profile

As Research Manager, she uses her 12 years in non-profit administration to support external research funding efforts in the department, in particular the Marie Curie and ERC European funding portfolio. This experience includes four years as Operations Manager for the Minnesota Alliance for Arts in Education and eight years in several posts at Intermedia Arts. Her work at Intermedia included facilitating collaboration with other organisations and individuals, supervising and training staff, interns and volunteers, and participating in budgeting and strategic planning. She was involved in grant writing and editing, and the fulfillment of grant related obligations. For several years she managed the organisation's Fiscal Sponsorship programme, which entailed coordinating the funding and fundraising for a large number of independent projects, including public art commissions, events, community art projects and films. Eventually, she chose to draw on her undergrad education in visual art and growing interest in computing, and spent the last three years as Graphic Design and IT Manager.
