Archaeological Information Systems

Overview

The Archaeological Information Science research group is primarily concerned with ways in which internet and digital technologies impact on communications and the ordering of knowledge within archaeology and related disciplines.

York runs MSc programmes in Archaeological Information Systems and Digital Heritage and is also home to the Archaeology Data Service and the e-journal, Internet Archaeology.
