Church Conservation:  30 September, 7, 14 and 21 October 2010

Course fee: £350 (reduced fee of £142.54 may apply - please enquire)

Keeping churches in good repair is an ongoing challenge for the heritage sector, which is made more difficult when a church is made redundant and might no longer be in regular use. The most special redundant churches fall into the care of The Churches Conservation Trust, an organisation that aims to conserve their churches and share their heritage with the public. This course, which is in association with the University of York and the Trust, will introduce delegates to problems encountered in adapting valued historic churches for modern visitor needs.
