Research conducted by the National Heritage Training Group found that there is a shortage of building professionals accredited to work in the conservation sector. If you are an architect, engineer, surveyor, or similar and are considering heritage work, why not attend an event or Continuing Professional Development course to find out more about this interesting and rewarding sector?

Six-week Woodwork and Furniture Making Classes
Run by master craftsman Kevin Lordan of The Yorkshire Hut Company, who is a fully qualified teacher and craftsman with 25 years' experience. Whether you are an experienced woodworker or a beginner with an interest, these six-week evening courses are the perfect opportunity for you to make furniture, gifts or toys; learn how to use hand tools correctly, cut joints accurately, and become a competent maker yourself.
