You may be interested to study more than one subject while you are a student at the University of York. You can do that by taking a combined programme, for example Politics and Philosophy, or Maths and Physics.
There are a number of subjects at York that complement each other, giving you the opportunity to study two or three subjects at the same time. In taking two (or three, in the case of Politics, Economics and Philosophy) subjects you are broadening your learning as well as increasing your skills.
Some of these skills such as time management and being able to balance a workload will be useful in the workplace. For most of the programmes this means that you will spend an equal amount of time taking each subject.
