Clearing and Adjustment Visit Day for Applicant Entry 2011

This Visit Day is intended only for students who have received a place at the University of York through Clearing or Adjustment, and those students who are considering a change of course offer.

Please note that car parking for visitors on the Clearing and Adjustment Visit Day is available at Campus South and Campus West car parks only. Please see the maps webpages for more information. A member of staff in a blue University of York T shirt will be able to direct you to the Jack Lyons Concert Hall.

Programme

1.30pm	Welcome and introduction The University of York, its facilities and student life Simon Willis , Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions
2.00pm	What happens next? Some advice and information about the Clearing process Victoria Douglas, Admissions Manager, Student Recruitment and Admissions
2.10pm	Tour of campus with a current undergraduate student
3.00pm	Information session with the department you are interested in
4.00pm	Depart

On the day

If you arrive early and are looking for somewhere to buy lunch, Wentworth College is open from 12.15pm - 1.45pm and there are two Public Houses in the village of Heslington serving food.

Sandwiches and snacks can be bought at Cookies Cafe in the Biology Department between 10am and 2pm, and from Costa Coffee in the Roger Kirk Centre between 10am and 3pm.
