Our most preferred accepted file format for files direct to print is PDF, saved as press ready (300dpi)

File formats need to be either 300 dots per inch tiff/eps/jpeg/pdf at actual size or a vector graphic with outlined fonts. If this file size is not achieved your print will be of lower quality i.e. Pixelated.

Other file formats if unable to save as pdf:
Photoshop - 300dpi tiff/eps/jpeg
In Design - Create outlined fonts and export as an eps
Quark Express - Please convert into 300dpi tiff/eps/jpeg or PDF
Illustrator/freehand - Convert all fonts to paths
Publisher - Save as a commercial printing PDF or JPEG
Corel Draw - Please export as an illustrator eps with outlined fonts or jpeg 300dpi
Word - You cannot set something up for commercial print in Word, send us your document and we will convert/design it for you and send you back a proof, this may carry a charge
Powerpoint - PDF commercial

Images

Please bear in mind all images from the web are 72dpi and are not good enough for printing, They must be CMYK and 300dpi tiffs.

Bleed

If your artwork has bleed ie colour/image continues off the edge of the card your artwork has to have 3mm extra in order to be trimmed off. If bleed isn’t provided on your artwork your card might not have colour going all the way to the edge. See example below:

Design

If you would like some artwork to be designed we provide a design service to internal and external customers.
We charge by the hour or part thereof, ensuring you only pay for the time on the job.
