In 1986, York RAG students set a new world record by sitting in a bath of cold custard for 76 hours. David Hollingham and Jules Brown survived the sticky ordeal by getting out every hour to shower, and smear themselves with Nivea. They did not go down in the Guinness Book of Records as sitting in custard is classed as a dangerous stunt.
