Terms of reference

  1. To develop funding strategies to finance capital developments on the Heslington East and Heslington West parts of the campus.

  2. To identify major activities to be based on the Heslington East site and to initiate planning for them.

  3. To identify major new developments on the Heslington West site and to initiate planning for them.

  4. To advise Policy & Resources Committee and other relevant bodies of the implications for University activities of developments on Heslington East and Heslington West (e.g. transport, student housing).

  5. To direct liaison with external agencies regarding the developments.

  6. To oversee consultation with external and internal communities and stakeholders about the developments.

  7. To oversee pre-construction phase planning and project management of specific developments.
