Requirements by staff group

Below are the statutory and compliance training requirements for different staff groups.

For some courses, training is only required if staff are involved in relevant activities. This is indicated in the course notes.

Equality and diversity

  • Diversity in the Workplace: online

    In order to meet our legal obligations we are asking all members of staff to complete the online learning module, 'Diversity in the Workplace.'

Information management

  • Data Protection

    This course is for all staff with responsibility for individuals' personal information
  • Data Protection: Online

    In order to meet our legal obligations all members of staff should complete this module. Staff requiring more in-depth information should attend the face-to-face session(s). You can find information on these sessions by going to Data Protection Courses.
  • Freedom of Information Act

    The course will benefit those likely to receive or handle information requests as well as those who create, handle or manage recorded information.
