A dedicated programme based around three themes:

  Focusing on interaction with your peers and the public, affecting policy and maximising the influence of outputs
• Personal effectiveness Enhancing your ability to motivate, manage and promote yourself in research and your career
• Research Governance and Organisation Including training on data protection, intellectual property, grant writing, ethics and project management

• The general staff training programme covers a broad range of topics from IT skills to change management
