Researcher Development Team

The Researcher Development Team (RDT) serve to provide all researchers, both research students and research staff (research associates, assistants and fellows) with the support and development opportunities to excel in their chosen fields and careers. The RDT are committed to providing all researchers with a supportive, stimulating and structured framework in which to conduct their research and develop their professional skills and career profile. We want all our researchers to realise their potential and fulfil their career aspirations – whatever they may be.

The training facilitated by the Researcher Development Team for research students is grounded in the Researcher Development Framework and is designed to help you reach your potential during and after your PhD. Training for research staff is designed in relation to The Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers.

The Researcher Development Team is part of a national organisation called Vitae who pioneer training and support for researchers.
