Human Resources Staff

Pat Lofthouse and Paula Tunbridge are the Director and Deputy Director of Human Resources;
our HR Services team provide general HR administrative support;
our HR Managers liaise with and give specialist guidance to departments;
HR Systems provide specialist support and advice on HR management information.
Professional and Organisational Development (POD) deliver and support staff development;
The Rewards Team develop pay and benefit policy and provision including job evaluation, pay and grading structures and a range of employee benefits.
The HR Programmes Office manages and supports the projects which form part of the University's HR Strategy

If you're not sure who you need to talk to, contact HR Services at hr-enquiries@york.ac.uk or on extension 4835 and they will pass your query to the right person.

We also work closely with the Equality and Diversity Office, who can advise and guide staff and students on a range of equality matters including discrimination and harassment.
