There shall be constituted in the University of York a Graduate Students' Association hereinafter referred to as the Association.
All registered postgraduate students of the University shall become members of the Association but shall have the right to withdraw from membership in accordance with the procedure approved by the University Council and set out in the Code of Practice provided for in 3.5 below.
The aims and objectives of the Association shall be to:
The Association shall be governed by its members under the Constitution as approved by the University Council in accordance with the Code of Practice provided for in 3.5 below.
There shall be a Code of Practice, to be approved by the University Council, governing the conduct and management of the Assocation in accordance with the requirements of Part 2 of the Education Act 1994.
