New pump-priming funds have facilitated over 50 research visits to countries including South Africa, South Korea, India and the US (image of Artemisia growing in the Centre for Novel Agricultural Products, in partnership with East-West Seed Group for the production of Artemisinin Combination Therapies, the World Health Organisation recommended treatment for malaria).
We have organised international visits for academic and support staff, including sending two chefs to universities in China (image of University chefs visiting Zhejiang University and Nanjing University).
We have launched Global York - a portfolio of international opportunities for students which includes summer schools, volunteering, internships, travel and study programmes (image of Centre for English Language Teaching visit from China).
