Cooperation between WUN partners is underpinned by a range of video seminar series relating to several of the WUN research areas.
Viewed live and interactive at sites across the partnership, seminars bring together audiences from China, Hong Kong, North America, Brazil and Europe, providing a unique opportunity for staff and students to engage with world class researchers in their fields. Increasingly, they offer postgraduate students an opportunity to make presentations about their own research and discuss this with other students and some of the leading international experts.
Staff and students normally attend seminars at one of the video conference rooms on the campus or, in some cases, directly from their own personal computers by using software. Seminars are normally recorded and archived on the WUN website, and can be viewed retrospectively.
For details of virtual seminars see WUN upcoming events.
Seminars are open to ALL students and staff at member universities. To attend please contact Harriet Cross, International Relations Officer and WUN Coordinator
