Research
WUN members are engaged in a wide range of international and interdisciplinary research collaborations across the sciences, social sciences, ICT and humanities. Many of these collaborations focus on key issues facing the twenty-first century, such as environmental sustainability, cultural cooperation, and the development of new technologies. WUN has brought together many of its projects within thematic Global Challenges areas.
York staff lead WUN collaborations in several areas. Some of these are:
- Cognitive Communications
- Spintronics
- Networking Young Citizens
- CARMEN - Medieval European Network
- Transformative Justice Network
York staff are also engaged in initiatives led by other WUN partners. The WUN website has more information about other current research collaborations.
