Receiving and accepting an offer
You are eligible to apply for accommodation if you:
We can only offer you accommodation for the official dates of your visit, these usually correspond to the University's term dates. If you arrive earlier than the dates specified then book bed and breakfast accommodation at conferences.
As we are midway through the academic year, accommodation is limited and we can only offer you the types of accommodation that are currently available.
If you are a Postgraduate visiting student please see Applicants 2011-12.
Visiting students with an Unconditional offer of a course place will receive an email containing details of how to enrol and apply for accommodation online.
It is important that we have your current email address. Check the email account that you have registered with us regularly.
If you change your email address contact study-abroad@york.ac.uk.
Please note:- students arriving in April for the Summer term will not be able to apply online. If you are an undergraduate visiting student due to arrive for the summer term 2012, please email accommodation@york.ac.uk
Once you have received the email you can make an accommodation application online.
Log into e:Vision, where you will see the 'Apply for Accommodation' link.
You must choose the correct application form by selecting:
Select 'Any College'
Answer the following questions:
Note that rooms are limited at this time of year so we can only offer rooms that we have available.

An offer will be sent to your University of York Google email address.
You must check your emails daily for an accommodation offer.
You will have 3 days to accept the accommodation offer.
You will not need to pay a booking payment.
