Landlords

The University of York offers a free of charge, internet based, advertising programme for Landlords with student properties. 

In order for us to advertise a property, Landlords (and the property) are required to comply with the Code of Best Practice. 

All Landlords must be registered with the University.

You can register online in order to manage your property adverts.

The University, along with all the other institutions in York, will advertise properties for 2012/13 from 3rd February 2012 onwards.

Rents of £65 - £70 recommended by Code of Best Practice Committee

For 2012-13, the Code of Best Practice Committee recommends a rent of between £65-£70 per student per week, plus shared bills.
