The Academic Support Office (ASO) plays an important role in helping to ensure that the University maintains its reputation for high quality learning and teaching.
The Office is responsible for co-ordinating processes for assuring the quality of educational provision and for supporting activities aimed at enhancing teaching practices and the quality of the student learning experience.
It delivers these responsibilities by working closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (who is also Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Teaching and Learning), the University Teaching Committee, the Learning and Teaching Forum, staff in academic and cognate administrative departments, and student representatives.
