Rosemary Royds

Director, Registry Services

Profile

Portfolio: Student Registry services, including management of the official records for all students and development of services to academic and administrative staff and students.

What is your day job?

I have managed the Registry Services section of the Academic Registry since 2006. I am enthusiastic about the opportunities to improve our services that the student records system offers and am proud that we have pioneered developments in some areas that lead within the sector.

I have paid particular attention to communication and consultation with departments, introducing regular meetings with departmental administrators and organising meetings of ‘interest’ groupings such as Postgraduate Admissions tutors, Chairs of Boards of Examiners and Boards of Studies, induction for External Examiners. I am always looking for opportunities to see how we can build on these initiatives.
